North Mahaska scored in four of the seven innings Friday to secure a 6-4 South Iowa Cedar League baseball win. The victory moved the Warhawks to three straight win of the week.
North Mahaska outhit HLV 10-5 including three doubles. NM scored a run in the top of the second and added two more in the fourth. HLV cut into the lead with two runs in the bottom of the fourth then NM added insurance runs in the fifth and two in the sixth. HLV managed to eke out single runs in the sixth and seventh.
Lucas Nunnikhoven, Jaydyn Steil and Drake Hall each had two hits. Sam Terpstra had the team’s lone RBI.
Dodge Dule picked up the mound win with a complete game five-hitter. He gave up four runs, two earned, with a walk and eight strikeouts.
