Our community and staff are encouraged to attend a training of how to develop students, athletes – and people in all areas of growth, looking to make changes in their lives. The Train Ugly workshop is lead by a group of highly-motivated people on a mission to challenge and question EVERYTHING that we think we know about sports, education, and development.
Train Ugly Workshop
Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 6:30 p.m.
North Mahaska High School Auditorium
All are welcome to attend.
Through this journey, they have worked with best-selling authors, Olympic coaches, professional athletes, renowned professors, and thousands of coaches, teachers, students, and players from all over the world.
These experiences helped them discover some incredibly important research in the fields of motor learning, performance science, and psychology that should have totally changed the way to train and develop students, athletes, and people in general – but they have not.
It’s the mission of Train Ugly to change all of that. They read, research, learn, and share as much as possible with students, athletes, coaches, and teachers and will do that on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. with the North Mahaska community.
