On Tuesday, February 19th, Officer Austin Rogers from the Oskaloosa police department came to North Mahaska high school along with his two-year-old k-9 dog. The purpose of the dog was to do a sweep of the building and to familiarize him with the layout of the school. He made two sweeps of the high school hallways, restrooms, and locker rooms. Nothing was found by the dog or officer Rogers. We at North Mahaska want all of our students to be safe and have a drug free school.
