On Tuesday, March 12th our school hosted the North Mahaska Warhawk Way to the Future Career Fair. Through the work of Mike Cockrum of Iowa Works and Angie Radcliffe, NM School Counselor, we hosted around 35 speakers from various employers around the area focusing on 14 different career categories. All 9th through 12th grade students were able to attend four sessions of interest while 7th and 8th grade students learned about careers, team-building and attributes of a good employee. Our school hopes to make this an annual event to help our students become college and career ready.
