From Sunday, June 23 to 26, soon to be freshman, Libby Groom, attended The Congress of Future Medical Leaders Conference at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Groom was selected to attend the conference due to her grade point average and career interests.
The Congress of Future Medical Leaders Conference is composed of the highest performing high school students looking to enter the medical field. To be eligible, the student nominated must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and must want to become a physician or go into medical science. The conference gives these students the chance to network with professionals in their fields and enter the Academy’s mentoring program for free.
After the conference and mentoring program, the students will leave with a clear path to achieve their career goals.
