Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, all children ages 18 and under can eat for free regardless of whether they live in the district or not. To receive meals each week, Sign up weekly (by 6:00 p.m. Sunday).

What changes will families see as we transition from the meals during the school closure to the summer food service program?
Everyone who signs up will automatically 5 days of grab and go lunches. The lunches will continue through August 3. Parents will need to pick up the 5 days of lunches one of the two locations:
1. North Mahaska Jr./Sr. High School -South Side of School Under the Jr./Sr. High School Canopy (11:00 to 12:00 on Mondays)
2. Barnes City Post Office at Noon on Mondays)
How is the program funded?
The program is funded through the state and federal funding. We encourage all families to take advantage of the summer food program.
