North Mahaska golfers took the road during a busy week to take on North Tama and Belle Plaine at the Belle Plaine Country Club Thursday. No girls team score were recorded because no team had enough golfers. North Tama edged the NM boys 181-183. Belle Plaine was third with a 214.
North Tama earned the top two spots with Paden Ketter scoring a 42 and Aaron Snider with a 43. North Mahaska’s Nash Smith and Jayden Steil each carded a 44. Blake Readshaw added a 47 and Carter Lake finished with a 48. Brock Walkup shot a 58 and Dodge Dule shot a 64 but did not figure into the team score.
Molly Vogler of North Tama took medalist honors for the girls with a 50 and North Mahaska’s Macy Moore had runnerup honors with a 54. Ronnie Layman shot a 60 and Libby Moore had a 69.
