North Mahaska’s wrestling team travelled to Fairfield Tuesday for a meet and the girls came home winners in three duals. They defeated Chariton 36-24; Fairfield 36-18; and Wapello 36-28.
Against Chariton, Madison Davi at 105, Lilly Briggs at 110, Kaylia Shipman at 115, Macie Little at 125 and Marissa Little at 155 each won by forfeit. Kieren Perez pinned Marissa Fetters in 2 minutes.
The other two contested matches saw Addison Terpstra at 100 pounds fall to Lola Voth in 2:39 and Amara Edwards-Hinton fell to Chloe Ruepke in 1:01.
In the Fairfield match, Shipman won by pin over Vianny Gonzalez in 2:59 and Perez pinned Haley Ulin in 1:13. Terpstra pinned June Connor in 1:22. Macie and Marissa Little each won by forfeit.
Briggs fell to Alyia Abbot in 51 seconds and Edwards-Hinton fell to Samantha Lyons in 49 seconds.
In the final match of the night, Terpstra, Shipman, Perez, Marissa Little and Edwards-Hinton won by forfeit. Macie Little took jut
23 seconds to pin Karlee Hand in her only contested match of the night. Briggs lost by technical fall to Clara Ball 20-2.
North Mahaska returns to action Thursday night in a quad then hosts a meet Saturday.
