North Mahaska boys took to the track at the Bear Trax meet at BGM Tuesday and came home with a seventh place finish. Lynnville-Sully won the meet with 135 points and BGM was second with 117. North Mahaska scored 17.
The sprint medley team of Jackson Doak, Jeb Goemaat, William Cox and Charlie Goemaat placed fourth in 1 minute 47.95 seconds. The shuttle hurdle team also garnered fourth in 1:09.01. The team consisted of C. Goemaat, Max Reed, Doak and Tyson Ferguson.
Axl Patterson earned a fifth and sixth individually. He was fifth in the 3,200 meters in 11:53.38 and sixth in the 1,600 in 5:16.63. The distance medley team of Cox, Ferguson, C. Goemaat and J. Goemaat covered the course in 4:07.90 to earn fifth. Cox placed sixth in the 200 meters in 25.30.
Also earning a sixth individually was Reed in the 110 hurdles in 17.76.
The boys return to action Thursday at Eddyville.
