North Mahaska’s track teams endured sun, rain, a stiff westerly wind and teams from Class 2A, 3A and 4A in a co-ed meet at PCM Thursday. North Mahaska girls earned fourth place while the boys garnered sixth. PCM girls won with 138 points and Ottumwa was second with 113. North Mahaska accumulated 81.
Knoxville boys won with 180 points over second place PCM with 143. The Warhawks scored 22.
Nataliya Linder continued her successful season picking up wins in the long jump, 400 meters and 400 hurdles. She won the long jump with a leap of 16-feet, 6-inches. She won the 400 in 1 minutes 12.98 seconds and the hurdles in 1:04.09.

Charlie Goemaat on the second leg of the shuttle hurdle relay. He helped North Mahaska to a second place finish with Max Reed, Jackson Doak and Tyson Ferguson.
Kieren Perez picked up the other first place finish for the Warhawks taking the 100 meters in 13.65 against that west wind. She earned sixth in the long jump with a leap of 14-4.5.
Ava Huffman and Emmerson Jedlicka added seconds in the 800 meters and 3,000 meters respectively. Huffman covered the 800 in 2:42.43 while Jedlicka finished in 11:24.45.
Huffman anchored the 3,200-meter relay to a third place finish in 11:16.81. Allie Veiseth, Amber Knockel and Abby Van Weelden ran the first three legs.
Jayden Hiner added a fourth in the high jump with a leap of 4-8.
NM added five fifth place finishes. Addison Terpstra ran the 200 in 30.38. Lilly Briggs finished the 400 in 1:13.45. Terpstra, Olivia Ridgeway, Knockel and Alivia Schock ran fifth in the sprint medley in 2:03.53. Terpstra, Van Weelden, Veiseth and Macie Little finished the distance medley in 5:13.02. Terpstra,
Ridgeway, Knockel and Schock covered the 800-meter relay in 1:59.59.
The boys’ shuttle hurdle relay team of Max Reed, Charlie Goemaat, Jackson Doak and Tyson Ferguson had the best finish placing second in 1:07.88.

Axl Patterson picked up fourth place finishes in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters. He ran the 1,600 in 5:18.55 and the 3,200 in 11:47.70. Max Reed was fourth in the 110 hurdles in17.69.
William Cox, C. Goemaat, Jeb Goemaat and Ferguson was fourth in the 1,600-meter relay in 3:49.86.
