North Mahaska’s baseball team had five members named to the all-South Iowa Cedar League teams and two to all-district. Junior Dane VanMersbergen earned a first team nod while seniors Jack Kelderman and Lucas Nunnikhoven were named to the second team. VanMersbergen and Kelderman were named to second team all-district.
VanMersbergen was a prolific outfielder and saw some time on the mound. He played in all 24 games batting .372 with 32 hits including six doubles. He collected 26 RBI and was 6-for-6 stealing bases.

Dane VanMersbergen
Nunnikhoven earned honors as an infielder. He had 109 chances with 44 putouts, 47 assists and 18 errors. He batted .338 scoring 32 runs on 25 hits including two doubles and a triple. He was a terror on the bases stealing 25 of 29 attempts. He brought in 12 runs on his hits.

Lucas Nunnikhoven
Kelderman was selected as a utility player. He saw time at several infield positions and on the mound. At the plate, he batted .360 with 27 hits including three doubles and a triple. He scored 25 runs and was 15-for-16 stealing bases.
Kelderman was 5-2 in 12 games as a pitcher. He had an earned run average of 3.64 recording 52 strikeouts with 27 walks and eight hit batsmen.

Jack Kelderman
Juniors Ryan Groom and Jaxon VanDerVeer earned honorable mention by the conference coaches. Groom was the catcher in 20 games while VanDerVeer recorded a 4-2 record on the mound and played first base.
