It was an exciting week for wrestling in Iowa as the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union agreed to sanction girl’s wrestling beginning next season. Erica Groom announced the sanctioning while honoring the three North Mahaska female wrestlers, which include seventh grader Macie Little, and juniors Libby Groom and Jalayna Shipley.
