North Mahaska kept its drive for a South Iowa Cedar League basketball title on track with a 52-7 victory over Keota. Eight Warhawks scored in the contest. Layla Hargis led with 17 points and seven rebounds. Breckyn Schilling and her sister Addie each scored eight points and Breanna Fogle added seven.
Nicole Clarahan and Taylor Kindred each hit a basket for Keota and the Eagles hit 3-of-7 free throws in the loss at North Mahaska. Kindred hit a free throw at the 53 second mark of the first quarter for the first Keota point. Clarahan would hit two charity shots as North Mahaska built a 37-3 halftime lead.
