Six North Mahaska wrestlers went 3-0 on the night and two others won twice to lead the Warhawks to three dual wins. NM defeated Chariton 50-30; Fairfield 43-36 and Wapello 52-23.

In the open match against Chariton, Gage Ries decisioned Kenton Jensen at 165 pounds, 12-8. Max Reed followed up with a technical fall at 175 over Julian Galvan, 16-0. At 215 Chance Angle pinned Ricco Tomas in 3:08.

Cooper Sampson at 106 pounds pinned Kahde Querrey of Chariton in 50 seconds. Logan Van Zee won by forfeit at 120 and Aydan Groom picked up the first of his three wins on the night at 132 pounds with a pin of Damon Aduddell in 2:45.

Joel DeJong pinned Drew Chandler at 138 pounds in 1:06; 144-pounder Ryan Groom pinned Nduwamungo Bosco in 1:52; and Hunter Wernli pinned Dylan Chandler in 1:24.

Angle picked up the first win for the Warhawks with a tech fall of Fairfield’s Brody Lyons, 15-0. At 285, Nolan Tum pinned Logan Adkins in 4:51. Sampson followed with a pin of Noah Patel in 1:39.

Aydan Groom took just 48 seconds to pin Aiden Holthus at 132. DeJong pinned Cayden Episcopo in 1:25 then Ryan Groom scored a tech fall over Zandrik Allison, 15-0. Wernli worked a 10-9 decision over Aiden Westercamp at 150. Ries picked up the final win over Calvin McClain in 4:35.

Ries opened the Wapello match with a win by forfeit. Reed scored a tech fall 15-0 over Carter Ball and Angle pinned Grayson Nagle in 3:55. Sampson and Van Zee earned forfeits at 106 and 113 respectively.

Aydan Groom picked up his third win with a pin of Cade Lundvall in 42 seconds. Ryan Groom pinned Draysin Crow in 25 seconds and Wernli scored a tech fall over Jordan Chamberlin, 21-1. Chris Long topped off the night with a pin of Max Dopler in 3:13.

North Mahaska hosts a meet Thursday and an invitational on Saturday.
